The Royal Scotsmen Band was formed in the mid-60's by the Chambers brothers, Ed, Joe and Tom. For over 20 years, during the 1960's, 70's and 80's, the group played throughout the northern and southeastern United States. The group played with many classic beach groups including The Georgia Prophets, The Clovers, The Drifters, Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, and Mel & Tim. After a 15-year hiatus, Ed and Joe are at it again. Joining them are their sister Kim, Paul Fritzgerald, Eric McFalls, Steve Scott, Judd Terrell, and Suzanne Vaughn. Hailing from 16 miles south/southwest of Greenville in the sleepy town of Pelzer, SC, the band wrote and played a wide variety of music, always including and now returning to what they like best - beach music.
